I would like to congratulate Cranborne on their DSL title. I would also like to congratulate Hamworthy United reserves, who just before christmas were 3rd from bottom, and who have, in the last 16 games have won 13, drawn 2 and lost only 1, taking points of all the teams above them, including 4 points of the champions, 3 points of Chickerell, 3points of Swanage and 3 points of Wimborne. (Correction, no points of Portland) and on Thursday night took Holt 1st team to penalties in the Banks Cup semi-final eventually loosing 9-8. I think this just goes to show the strength of the teams in the DSL. Sorry this side tracks from the topic in question.

HAD IT CONFIMED LAST NIGHT SWANS AND CRANBORNE PROMOTED TO THE DORSET PREMIER LEAGUE

ONLY TWO CLUBS PROMOTED HAM UTD WILL PLAY IN WESSEX ONE AND SHAFTESBURY WILL PLAY IN WESSEX TWO CRANBORNE AND SWANAGE WILL REPLACE THEM WITH NOBODY RELEGATED WHICH WILL MAKE 17 CLUBS IN THE D.P.L.

So its going to be 17 teams again why cant they make it 18 or sixteen. Instead of every week someone not having a game it seems stupid

In defence of the DPL, they wanted to take three teams up but DCFA wouldn't allow more than two to leave the Dorset League
