A great result for Stur against Holt, they are a very good side but we were better and I think that Stur will be making a few more shocks this year so we are the team to watch.
Holt started well but the youth and fitness levels of stur was much better and once we found ourselves 1-0 down the game turned and I think we dominated

i also was at the game, thought a draw would have been a fair result . Sturs first was an early xmas presant, miles offside . poorly officiated.

Not sure what game you were watching - in the 1st half Cranborne were all over the Swans. Never troubled the defence who looked solid.

Whowever that is saying the 1st goal was offside I think you will find that it wasnt and that our centre forward bent his run and timed the run to perfection and it was definately not offside.
The linesman was in a perfect position to give it but never did, surely that tells you something??

stur player ,offside mate ! its history now , you actually seen one of your players bend his run and also seen the linesman in a perfect position in that moment in time ? They cant get it right on the telly even with video replays ! Richard keys wants you in the studio with big andy gray immediately . wait by the phone mate . ps were you in line with play when that punted ball was played over the top? mr manuel ?

I was in line with it yes but that Stur player post was not me, I couldn't tell if he was off or not everything was pretty quick, however what I can say to swans fan is I thought you were going to get 3 points tonight? Oh dear

2 games down and there seems to be a strange look too the league, I how sure it all depends on who has played who. Peoples thoughts to what games they have seen ?

2 games down and there seems to be a strange look too the league, I how sure it all depends on who has played who. Peoples thoughts to what games they have seen ? Saw Poole B v Bridport on Saturday. Bridport looked decent, played the ball around well but Poole B were very poor so difficult to tell. Ham Rec v Ham Utd Tuesday night. Rec did what they needed to do and won without really getting into their stride. They will be the team to beat again this year. Just going by the results in the opening games, Westlands may well be their main challengers. Stur v Swans Wednesday night. Stur played well in patches and were good value for their win, but it was a very poor Swanage side so difficult to tell how good or otherwise Stur are.

Saw Wincanton v Westlands on tuesday, Westlands not firing on 4 cylinders but it was canter for them and they will be there at the end of the season. Winky boys looked poor but sure they will be stronger has the season goes on.

watched holt away to cranborne last night....it must be said cranborne were very poor but the young lad in mid-field who played next to chris looks a very good prospect..... Holt were very good going forward and kept the ball very well and their front two caused trouble that cranbourne could not handle in the first 45..... you cannot fault cranbourne for there desire to turn the game around and worked hard in the 2nd half to try and claw somethink out of the game...

Several key players still missing at Cranborne, including keeper, centre backs, players playing out of position. Which young player playing in midfield? Hats off to Holt though, kept playing football, very well organised and a good side who will be in top 5 or 6 if not higher at end of season.

i watched the wincanton v westlands game, westlands played very well and deserved the win, very quick counter attacking team, i thought wincanton didnt play the ball to the strikers enough, and one did get behind the westlands defence a few times when the ball was played, they have a quick winger, and the defence are preety good, westlands have a good team all round, they have a ery skillfull striker who needs to pass it, wincanton top 8 finish, westlands going for the title.

Sherborne v Stur Newton last night......... Not much to report there !!!!!! Stur will be staying firmly to the bottom of the table this season and sher will do well to finish above mid table at the best . Poor game from 2 poor sides

glad to see everyone has dismissed portland. i watched the ham rec game and in my opinion we more than matched them and i thought we could of quite easily come away with all 3 points but a draw was fair really. also we drew with weymouth reserves in a very poor game. we have had the toughest 2 opening fixtures of anyone and we are unbeaten so not bad at all :)
