what a tremendous result yesterday for the green army, poor pitch, and a well earned vital 3points, cant really see anybody beating us this season.

No one can say they will be unbeaten in a season. With a key player missing then losing another man early on it shows the strength and depth the club have to get a win at a top side. League is our aim whether we lose a game or not along the way.

Not sure how you have the neck to complain about the Boro pitch when yours has been unplayable for much of the winter! When are you going to sort it out?

Rumour is that finances are being secured to sort magna rd out. You will prob find it is someone from another club on here moaning about boros pitch stirring it up. That said your pitch is in poor condition as are many in the league including our own.

I totally agree, the Boro pitch is not in a good state. Like most clubs we have had to allow games to be played when normally they would have been called off. The damage was done in January and we have to live with it now. As you say, most clubs are in the same boat, so hopefully there is a bit more understanding out there.

please stop all the whinning about all the bad pitches that are "unplayable" ham rec have the best overall facilities of any club in this league and then theres the rest. most people/players on here play on a sunday morning aswell but dont moan or worry about the state of the green they are playing on do they? No its just this dpl league that is full of proper idiots who just like to slate- slag- belittle- and generally just vent there personal hatered towards managers and players on this site. and always under false names!! This is because the false posters on here havent got the nuts too spill there anger in person!!!!!!!! spineless.....

i think the fact that portland have there OWN ground with floodlights puts them head and shoulders above a team who are at a sports club and cant go up so when u talk some sense then come back with ur false name!!!

lol how funny, ham rec best ground in the league? ? umm well its nice in the summer but the changing rooms are Bleep, the bar is Bleep so pretty average ground, weymouths is probably the best, cobhams pitch its self is not in bad nick, well better than ham recs at the mo. poole borough has always been the worst in the league, dog poo on it sometimes. playing at swanage is like stepping back in time.

Our ground is not the best but all that will change when we win the league. Rec are old hat, yes a good side but the CHICKENS are the big boys now. Double here we come.

Hamworthy Rec are a good side, play football the right way and always look dangerous on the break. When we played and lost 4-2 to them at home it was a very good game and both sides look dangerous. pitty if they win the league andthey cant go up because of facilities. Im sure most of their players could play a much higher level. Bothe Western and wessex 1 leagues a very average and im sure they would walk that league

ham recs team is junk compare to the team Portland had the last two seasons ,if u cant remember we won everything ,and we went 34 league games unbeaten so when u get to that much let me no . u might win the league this year but you will never be going up .

Ham Rec have no interest in going up everyone knows that. Thats the same with most of the clubs in this league. Im sure if Portland were to win the league then they wouldn't be daft enough to try and punch above there weight like last time. Remember going up to the wessex league and getting spanked every game!

What a silly comment. No lights are nearly as good as your terrible ones anyway. Lights not up to Wessex standard so you couldn't go anywhere either. Stupid rabbit.
