Having just read the Dorset Echo report on the Portland Ham Rec game Sat.I think Stuart Heath must have been at a different game to me.It was close first half but 2nd half against the wind Rec murdered us.Played 3 lost 3 but should have won all 3.Come on Stuart give credit where its due,you are not doing yourself or the boys any favours with comments like that

Saw the game Sat and Heaths reports are wearing thin and becoming grating if not disrespectful. 1st half was pretty even but 2nd half Hamworthy tore us to shreds. Our leader has not yet lost a game in his reign due to good opposition, Always had more chances, the ref, injuries and so on. Grow up or leave. Portland FC do not want to get a bad name, great in your playing days but not management. Stick to your day job of teaching school children

it didnt say should have won all three just that we had run them close a couple of times. dont think hes doing too bad with the team hes got. cant make miracles happen with youngsters and inexperience across the team.

Not disputing he has done a good job in the circumstances, but should think before he speaks.I quote Dorset Echo 19th Mar."We have played them twice. We were unlucky to loose and deserved results in both games"Tues 23rd "Second time thier keeper was man of the match had it not been for his performance the outcome might have been different"Rec.are good friends of ours and deserve a little more credit. It was a good performance by us against a very good "BETTER" team.In fairness to Stuart I think we are going in the right direction.

Some of the comments on this thread are laughable! Especially coming from the Portland fans... You may be one of the best sides in the DPL but remember a few seasons back when you were in the Wessex league getting smashed every week. Fair enough I think maybe a couple of sides from the DPL could possibly hold there own in the Wessex league, but they would be no more than mid table teams. The DPL is not a good standard, its pretty poor in truth.
