That's because Roman (aka Steve Harvey) Abramovich wants to get the team into the Wessex league within three years. Plus he has sufficient money to take the club forward for many years...
Also speaking to KJ directly, he has never written on this forum for a long, long time.
So get your facts right before your aspire to write sh**e.

Dont worry Sports fans, KJ has been scouting the under 15's league for the past 2 months, you will have some quality signings.

If we all had listened to idiots on this site, we would not have signed for sports.
He has taken a couple of training sessions and has a different approach to dealing with players. So give him a chance as we are going to. He will surprise a few of you.
We know already of a few new players and i assure you they are not youngsters.

Wont be coming next season whilst that joker is in charge, thought he said first of all that he would keep the players we had, now it seems he has signed quite a few Poole Town reserves players that he took to 2nd bottom of the county league.
Unimpressed with Harvey, puts his money in but knows nothing about football so should stand back and let his management team get on with it but he doesnt, he wants to get involved all the time.

So what if he is bringing youngsters to the club. All I know that he's bringing them for the second team, so that you actually have a "second team" that supports the "first team", not like in the past.
So Sports Fan, not going to watch an improved team next year that's got a good chance of finshing near the top. With such negative sentiments, go watch parley down the road, we don't want you supporting us!!

Ha ha ha, good one!!! Nice to know you appreciate the people that turn up and cheer you on, nice to see KJ and Harvey's attitudes are rubbing off on you already. Enjoy playing in front of 2 people and a couple of parents.
Perhaps I,ll go down the road and watch Christchurch, and have a chat with all the people down there that "love" KJ as well.
Absolutely no chance of finishing near the top of the league, no way!!!

ex poole player we are not all like the supposed to be a fan of sports i believe it is someone who has a grudge against Kevin or steve but has not got the decency to put he's real name on the site especially when slagging Kevin and Steve. I have spoken to the both of them about next season they are both enthusiastic and will surprise a few. Lets give them a chance.
Please remember without Steve Harvey there would not be a team, let alone 2 teams playing next season.
So as i said we are not all bad. Also what a great win last game of season against the Champions Holt.....didnt hear much praise from any other side.

Sorry sports supporter but your assumptions are wrong, have been watching sports for many seasons, long before Harvey and KJ were on the scene. Of course I am pleased that we are still in business, but the fact of the matter is that both Harvey and KJ have reputations in local football, and they are not good!!
Results dont lie and Poole Town reserves had a very bad season, so what good will it do bringing these players to the league above.
Both these guys have very big ego's and enjoy lots of praise and attention, and when they dont get it then they spit their dummy's out in a very big way. Just ask the guys at Christchurch, Corfe Mullen and Poole Town.
Anyway, Im not bothered, there are plenty of teams that I can go and watch on a Saturday, but for a team that nearly went bust I would have thought they needed all the support they can get.

i am amazed of the last comments made by a sports fan if you really are one.
You have a little memory Kevin Jackson was asked to prove his credentials, he did not have too. But because of people that doubted him, he eventually showed his colors.
You know nothing about him, i myself no nothing, but i will give him a chance.
So lets see what the season brings.
As for Mr Harvey i am glad he has come to the sports as things are happening, ie ground facilities etc. Backroom Staff. I attended the AGM and it was run correctly and all issues were addressed.
Come on lets give him them both a chance.

Steve Harvey has an ego....that's the best I've heard all day! When his last manager last walked out he received 16 phone calls from other clubs offering support and alex pike even offered players....big ego, unliked, I think not...
I've known him a while now and I can tell you that people like X'Church, Lymington would bite their right hand off to have a guy like this on board (if they know what I know!). For a start, the will be no sunday football on the pitch from the next season so that the pitch goes back to what it was about 2-3 years ago (ie, the best in Dorset), the club will get treated with abit more respect that it currently does (ie. get treated on par with the egg-chasing). He's got 10+ sponsors signed on already....is this not enough for you Sports Fan?

Harvey isn't so much the problem yes he's slightly two faced yes he's got a inflated sense of self worth but who doesn't thats involved in running a dorset football team they're all the same Harvey is a snake and Sports fans and players should be dubious. But the facts are facts. He has put his money where his mouth is and even though he's in it for himself at least he's doing it. Compared to a lot of the other all talk no action chairman and committee's around here thats a plus.
The thing that I don't understand is how Harvey, who does have realistic if somewhat ridiculous notions of Sports moving up the non league pyramid can really believe the Jackson is the right man for the job. And I mean this seriously I do not know any player apart from those who he's fed pie in the sky stories to and taken to Sports who actually respect him or take him seriously.. And even those who have gone aren't doing it because of him they're doing it to play a better standard than DSL. People can come on here and say this and say that about what a job a good job he's done at PT youngster this and youngster that. and what he did many moons ago in Somerset or wherever he came from but facts are facts no one else has attracted such a negative response locally for a long long time. You could say disgruntled players or bitter committee members are to blame for this but there is no smoke without fire and it seems controversy likes him a lot.
That must say something. And even if you ignore that and judge him on what he has done result well that doesn't exactly look good. With all his contacts and professional expertise he's not done very well.
So thats my objective view needless to say time will tell. But I'm sure if things don't start well with those two ego's it wont be long before we'll be talking about the break of the Bournemouth Sports CM Dream Team

OK don't know Harvey, so cant comment, played for kj a few times and found him a very good manager as good as any Ive played for, and thats a few, don't understand all the slagging me thinks its people to do with Poole town, who have there reasons but at the end of the day should be concentrating on there own club who had a great season...its good to see sports still going hate to see teams end, and good to hear the pitch will be better next season as it is like parleys one of the best around, good luck to all at sports next season, sorry if i bored anyone, but don't understand all the slagging.....

Just stated to look at this site and I think you are out of order saying that it is the people from poole fc putting these posts on. KJ has been long gone from our club and has been forgotton we have moved on and got a new very good reserve manager. I am just releived that all these rubbish postings are now this site and have moved with KJ to this site. Any way good luck KJ and sports and all other Dorset teams

The more i read these threads the more i understand the idiot who slates KJ and Steve.
I believe the person is ex Christchurch....and Not Poole Town, because KJ got on well with all the supporters at Poole.
Also take note of Paul Harding's comments, he is well respected in football and i remember the games i played with him for PTFC.
Lets draw a line under this issue and let the new season run its course.

My posting was purely from an objective point of view.
I have no connection with Christchurch or PTFC.
I am speaking from my own personal experience and from what people I know have said. I really do wish Harvey well like I said his motives are dubious but at least he is doing it. As for the other one time will tell.

I feel the current thread on KJ are by people who don't really know him, Steve Harvey is not a fool, he has supposedly put his own money into the club to back KJ, not the actions of a succsessfull businessman, let me tell you KJ is one of the nicest persons going socially, as to his football knowledge, tactacal nouse etc I can not comment on yet and neither can the many others who slate him on here, let this new season be his "judgement day" at Poole town running the reserve side like any other club is extremely difficult at 12 o'clock on the day of the game you can have a strong side, when the 1st team pull out a couple of players for what ever the reason, and it is always your better player that is pulled, so don't judge his PTFC record different to any other Res team manager, also his relationship with with TK was not as rosy as he would have liked, some of this is without doubt his own fault, but he always got on well with the large band of PTFC fans I also know although a couple of players from the Res (2 or 3) may go across with him, whats new there? but certainly not all the youngsters some are suggesting, many will be going to Uniy or whatever and some are staying at PTFC with the new manager, KJ also understands that running a football team is about getting it right off the park as well as on, and no one will work harder in this area than him, give him a chance as No 1 and I will be the first on this web-site if he dos'nt achieve a top 5 finsh next season, slating him, but if he does well, will all the knockers come on and apoligise I doubt it which proves my point this is just personnal, and many of you don't even know him.

JJ you 100% right about KJ, he struggled this season as players were taken off him by TK as late 12.30 on a saturday, i was one of them on many occasions. It could be as many as 5 players but he still filled the fixture.
You have got him wrong, he has not got an ego. He is passionate about football, he's worked with Swindon Town, AFC B'm brought him down here to coach and carryout the duties with the youth team and the School of Excellence.. He is very quiet and I have never heard him boast once.
So he has faith in youngsters who have the ability...... Carl Chivers at Poole Town, Mathew Mills at Man City, Nathan Dyer Soton...... and of course Fitzroy Simpson and Matthew Bound.
I believe these threads are from people who don't know him.
Also when he left Poole it was for medical reasons.....and he encourage the player to stay at PTFC.
