Sports Fan - who are you and where were you when Sports needed people to come forward when we were in trouble? I've been with Sports for 25 years and will still be involved this coming season. I've filled every committee position except Vice Chairman. Who is this person who has "followed Sports for years"? I certainly don't know of anyone who has been a regular at Sports matches over the past 5 years except myself!!

Score was 3-0 to poppies.
Fairly nodescript game with poppies the only team team who looked like scoring on a regular basis..pre-season I suppose. Poppies had the likes of Bagueley, Phillips, Dancer, Crow, Dibba, etc so were at pretty much full strength. Sports looked like a team getting to know each other but they are shaping up alright.

we did well up until our keeper was involved in a tackle which saw him taken to hospita, poppies we wise to immediately substitue the offender.
Yes we were a new side only three sports players left from last season so i think KJ has done well to put a side together gin such short time.
If you look at the game 2 goals were defensive mistakes, something they can learn from. keep up the good work.

That's Leigh Phillips for you...he plays like his life depends on it...he had a few niggles with the centre halfs during the game which other than that, it was the usual hand bang stuff.
85% of goals in football are due to mistakes but one was dreadful while the other was a piece of poor marking....bagueley will score 99% of the time when presented with the opportunity.

oh, i did not know the persons name, it was a horrible challenge as our keeper had jumped to head the ball out side the area, your man put his boot into his ribs.
He is still in hospital in a bad way maybe it would be nice for Mr Phillips to take time out to visit him.
Just a thought.
