My side are looking at transferring the Dorset Senior League. We are unable to find the criteria on any of the websites for entering a side into the Dorset Senior League.
Do we have to start in Division 5 or can we apply straight to then Senior League?
We have a great home pitch under development, good young hungry side and a decent amount of backing.

I have never posted on here before and have no idea what you are talking about.
However if there is anyone who could answer I would be very appreciative.

I think you have to apply to the Dorset League for next season, then they will assess your club and looking at the League as a whole including all comings and goings, they will allocate you to a Division. There has been at least one new team in Division 2 this season, but I would think it very unlikely for any new club to start in the Senior Division. Some very strong clubs have had to start in the lowest division over the last few seasons - I watched one of them on Saturday, going for their third consecutive promotion.

To all,
Do not respond to this thread. The author and team PQFC are fake. The guy tried to start a thread on here a few years ago - see Sept 19th 2008 (or google it).
Do not waste your time giving him any credence.

You really must be mistaken. I have never posted on here before.
The team are not "FAKE" as you say, I have been managing them 6 years moving from Bmth Div 7 to The Premier.
We are called Priory Quays Football Club, please check our website, facebook page and league tables for last 10 years.
The negativity on this board is astounding having only asked a simple question following some tentative enquires.

Please dont take offensive, I think it is a case of mistaken Indentity, there was some hoax posts as rightly pointed out some time ago under PQFC but I believe on that occasion the team in question was Poole Quay FC? not Priory. I for one know you are an established side, good luck, dorset football could do with a progressive side like yours competing

Thanks for the apology, we are only making tentative enquiries as alot of our players play in Dorset Prem, Bmth Prem etc on Saturdays so we were thinking of coming together with another similar side and trying to get to the next stage.
One thing that bugs me is sides like Electric and Westover who wont try and progress and are happy being the big fish in the small pond.
