2 definate penaltys for Rec without doubt. Boros penalty claim was very very dubious. The fact the Boro management and players verbally abused the officials continually will not help their cause. Agree that the referees and other match officials are very inconsistent but everyone is used to that now. Ref saw Foley Moores incident and used common sense.

the first one was a penalty and ssecond one shouldnt of been given! if the ref did see foley andmoores incident why was it only moores booked? and kicking out is a straight red in the laws of football but you dont much about football then do you

Inconsistent referees. read the thread moron. Both should have gone but booked one so poor refereeing. Getting called expletives by Bates and the bench all game he did not produce a card and swearing at a match official is a red card. See I do know some rules!

Getting called expletives by Bates and the bench all game he did not produce a card and swearing at a match official is a red card. See I do know some rules! Swearing at a match official is not a red card actually. The offence is "using abusive, offensive or insulting language". If an official considers what has been said falls into that category then it is a sending off offence. If he doesn't, it isn't. Swearing, or "foul language" is no longer an offence unless the ref interprets it as offensive, insulting or abusive. "f*ing hell ref" probably wouldn't be punished. "You're f*ing useless ref" probably would be.

Offensive, insulting and abusive. This does not have to be directed at any one to be a red card, it is not and nor should it be part of the game. You seem to moan about refs but where in football should players stamp or use elbows if indeed this is the case. Yet again poor footballers and management lead to poor discipline, sort your houses out then you may have cause to dissagree with officials. Back to your changing room for some lessons in discipline and manners not to mention the need to learn to play football and get on with the game.

Not that the result was wrong in our game but the officials were awful 0ne nil down the ref gives us a pentaly Dan Manuel spots the ball the ref having waved away the protests is about to blow for the kick to be taken when the linesman on the advice of the crowd decides its not a penalty and ref changes his mind. Same officials as last year's game when all hell broke loose what a joke. Surley someone has a brain at the FA that might think it would be sensible to send three different officals who have no pre-conceved thoughts about the game! Sorry how stupid of me to think any thought goes into it. Not bitter about the result cause we were awful and got what we deserved.

ok stur fan, a stur marshall player handles the ball in the box, referee waves play on, then the other end a swanage player handles it, ref gives penalty, then the second penalty you were giving was an absoloute joke, so im glad you got a taste of your own medicine.

maybe a vauled point but its not the stur players or the wincantion players fault if the refs are awful but it is if its easier for you to blame the stur players for decisions last week then good luck to you. My comment never mentioned us losing unfairly cause we deserved it, shame you couldn't do the same. Best of luck for the rest of the season

The problem is that the league didn't think before allocating the officials. After the issues which arose from last season, the same 3 officials were bound to be prejudiced a year on. So every 50:50 decision seemed to go towards Wincanton from what I saw! Particularly the late change of heart surrounding the penalty. Awful refereeing!

simply , How many refs are out there ? dying breed if you ask me !Slag these chaps once to often and they think oh well i will pack it in then . They have feelings just as players do . Do you think these guys turn up for 20 or 30 quid ? However good or bad they may be , they wear BLACK! or next season when you run out on the pitch ,it may be a bloke saying "SORRY MATE"no ref today but our injured centre back will ref " OK with your lads mate? Fools ye not know what ye do !

just to reply to all about these 3 officials, 1 , none of these officials were on last years encounter,2, after speaking personally to the referee he was going on the assistants sighting of the incidents ie kicking out & the stamping,3, as we see week in week out its in the opinion of the referee and he has a split second not numerous playbacks to make a decision . please give these people a chance we all know its not the same without them.

You are wrong Mr. Assessor!! For a fact, the linesman was the one who gave evidence against Stur Marshall last season!! Definitely the same!
