Bridport reserves fixture against Weymouth reserves is off tonight due to all the rain we have had. Tomorrow there are 2 games at Swanage and Ham utd. Anyone know if these games are going ahead or how league followers can find out without wasted journeys???

Then it doesn,t rain all afternoon and the pitch is ok, and Oh dear! you already cried off. Work on it from 10 then if no joy call off about 3 or 4pm. Doesn't any club make the effort any more and only play in the sun on hard pitches. Make the effort all you clubs or games will be going on in the summer.........................................................

Yeah, you would think any volunter worth his salt would take a day off work to mop water off the pitch wouldn't you? Where's their committment?

Maybe if working, fair enough. But same applies to saturdays. As for the last post, is there any need to lower the tone with rubbish. Shocking absolutely shocking. Imature!!!!!!!! I made a valid point, if you don,t agree, fine.

ARE YOU SURE -
HAVE YOU EVER PLAYED ON SWANAGES PITCH, ANYONE WITH ANY SENSE AT ALL WOULD KNOW THAT THIS GAME WOULD BE OFF IF THE WEATHER CONTINUED OR NOT, WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH RAIN THIS WEEK EVEN IF IT HAD STOPPED TODAY THE GAME WOULD BE OFF, SAME AS HAM REC, PARLEY, GILL OR SHERBOURNE, THESE PITCHES WOULD NOT BE READY FOR THE WEEKEND LET ALONE FOR TONIGHT.

Went down to watch the Westie game at Hamworthy the pitch didnt look well drained it was a mud patch. Thought Westland played well in the conditions and to be fair Hamworthy were not a bad team, if they had not had a bloke sent off it would have been more difficult. On another subject when we go to other grounds you generaly have a chat and a laugh but some of the Hamworthy lot was a bit over opinionated. Think Rec will win the league they are a good team
