What happened to Poole Borough. Not so long ago they had the chirpiest forum around. Now they've closed it down. Maybe they didnt want their rivals reminding them of another impending league championship and promotion to a division that they're not likely to ever experience.

The forum was closed down due to the fact that we had idiots from your so called magnificent club (i have to laugh at that by the way) putting stupid remarks on there about our club trying to cause upset in our fine example of a club.
But i suppose that you know it is now back up and running, this time though, the idiots have to register to make comments and have a valid e-mail address to which our website manager can then make a record of this.
ENJOY
UP THE BORO`!!!!!!!!!!!

the people on the boro web site say that some people got it shut down ,let me tell you the real reasons before others get the blame there web master mr pauley wrote a poor report on the ham utd saying the ref was poor and some other remarks which he had to remove from the web site ,if he had not removed these remarks the fa would have taken action against him and the club ,but it must be the only web site that your not allowed to defend your self on ,jamie holland took loads of stick from there fans and players on there web site but when trying to answers these pepole mr pauley would not let him post any more messages so the only idiots to get the site closed down was there own people ie graham pauley

Who says that was the reason it was shut down? ? Well let me put you all straight on this matter, for a start certain things were said on the site that was nothing to do with Poole Borough FC at all, i.e other players trying to cause bother in the boro camp. Yes, maybe some things that were on the site should never have been put on there but we have paid the price for that now, it is history. We do not mind constructive remarks or friendly banter as long as it is just that. It was just that a load of idiots were going on our site and were trying to upset us all. This hopefully has now been sorted out and the forum will, as with the web site, continue to flurish. JUST LIKE BOTH OUR TEAMS REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UP THE BOROUGH

Spotted my mention on the site by 'Mr Idiot', and although rather tedious I have to put him straight that I suspended the Borough forum due to the type of postings which built up prior to and after the Hamworthy match.
Jamie's comments were easy to spot as he used his name, but they were also pretty annoying and deserved to be cut out. I wasn't sure that the block I put on him has worked so thanks for confirming that!
With regards to my match report I fully admit I was wrong to criticise the Referee in the way I did, and therefore off my own back removed one sentence plus a couple of additional words 48 hours after posting. The rest of the report still remains as stands.

I hope this puts an end to the topic in my opinion Boro are a well run club with a good manager in place Although like most clubs they have their share of idiots attached Another season has passed where they have under achieved which begs the question was it really worth paying some of their players for very little return Hamworthy Rec have never paid players and always finish above The Boro And yet I believe Hamworthy Utd do pay some of theirs and will probably go on to win the league Who got true value this season The Boro must gain success next year you have been arround long enough now With your financial resources surely we will see some senior silverware in the trophy cabinet or are your expectations and ambitions really that low COME ON THE BORO

Why is it that everyone thinks that we pay our players. I really do not know where the rumour started but i can tell you that it is only partially true. Ham rec do pay their players and so do Ham Utd, so why is everyone alway waiting to have a dig at Poole Borough ?? We may well have under achievedin the past but now we have a good manager who will take the club forward. I expect that even if, next season we win the DPL, you lot would then say it was only because Ham Utd or Ham Rec went over to the Wessex League, well good luck to them if they do decide to go there, they should do very well with the team that they have got, providing that they all sign for them again. I wish them all the best. Now can we not stop all this hatred towards the Boro`, i really do not know why you lot hate us so much. Good luck to all the local sides for the rest of the season, and for the whole of next season. UP THE BOROUGH !!! P.S. UP THE MIGHTY RIDGE TOO !!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Tell me how can it be partially true. We all know you do so how is it partially true. Secondly what makes you think that your going to win the DPL with your new manger when you couldnt do it with your last( who infact had a lot more managerial experience than your current one)

I think you need to speak to the Hamworthy Utd manager he tried to sign one of your players this season but could not get near the personal terms he was receiving at the Boro

All i can say is While you are slagging Boro off at least you are leaving other clubs alone !!!
So glad we are such a talking point for you, after all if we had not formed there then who would you have slagged off!!
What were these personal terms then that Hamworthy couldnt meet please tell! maybe the player didnt want to go?
Anyway its the end of the season now so glad we have given you something to amuse you in your obviously dower lives!
Congratulations to the reserves on your promotion to Div One and to all the YOUTH teams
Oh sorry forgot to mention we are a CLUB and not just dedicated to one team!

I am a supporter of local non league football and put my money where my mouth is I pay to watch at various clubs during the season I have a soft spot for a few clubs including The Boro So why is it you believe we are intent on slagging your club off You need to get that big chip off your shoulder and face facts It was the Boro who broke away from Poole Town and so called raised itself phoenix like from the proverbial ashes a commercial team who are full time and work very hard to raise much needed funds to run the club Have you asked the question where does this money go? Would the likes of Tony White and James Edwards be at the club unless they were being rewarded in the cash sense? Stop this self gratification for winning minor trophies and leagues and start to self analyse your club asking questions such as with the infra structure in place are we achieving what our ambitions dictate? Are we getting value for money which reflects the hard work commercial team affords You know doubt wish to be viewed as a big club so start to act like one Over the years I have learnt to accept other peoples opinions on football There is always someone brighter then you if you take the time to listen and digest you may just learn and ultimately improve yourself and club

First of all spectator, you obviously do not know all the facts surrounding the break away from Poole Town, so, do not even go there.
Yes it was us that broke away but with good reason, thats all i am saying.
Secondly, there is a long way to go before we can call our selves a big club, in Dorset terms i suppose we already are but like others have said on here, we have not achieved anything YET as we have come across a few stumbling blocks along the way. These will hopefully be sorted out for next season.
We at Poole Borough are pleased with the club as a whole has made in our short existance, now if that has got anybody upset, well i am afraid it is hard luck and i do not mean it horribly.
As Borough fan said, it is so good to see that we are the talking point in Dorset, but before you start to slag us off, please get your facts right as this is what gets up our noses, when people do not know what they are talking about..
Good luck to everyone for the remainder of the season..
UP THE BOROUGH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I no for a fact that Mr. Pike pays his players a darnn site more than we could ever afford to, i no this from experiance. Ham Utd have never tried to sign anyone from Poole Borough FC this season or last, i no this for a fact too. i also no that Poole Borough do pay their players but not anything what you people think they pay. Stop having digs at each others teams and get behind them all, do you not think it time we had a pro team here in Poole? ?? We are the biggest town in uk without a pro team.
