Just been reading that Jason Harvell has left Poppies, anyone know where he's gone? Also has ex Wimborne Stewart Kearn signed for anyone yet?

Nick Hutchings from Ham Utd is the new keeper at Wimborne.

They have also signed Ryan Park, who is likely to play reserves but i think could easily play wessex football. 2 top quality keepers at wimborne this yr!!

Although I do agree with the fact that Hutchings is a quality keeper and well deserves the 1st team keeper jersey at Wimborne this season, I do not agree with the statement that Park could EASILY play wessex football.
It is a lot more difficult a standard to play than people realise and for a lad that has never played wessex football, I think he may struggle with the physical side of the league. Lets face it, I'm not sure he'd want to 50/50 with the likes of Lovell and Phillips

i can agree with this side of your arguement, however he is a top shot stopper and good distributer. in this case if in doubt the first team could call on him if need be

i agree with both of the above points, however park is technically good enough to fo a job in that league and as for the physical side nick aint exactlly the biggest of lads anyway. For me not a lot in it between the two size wise, shouold be an interesting battle between them two fighting it out for the number one jersey. gd luk to both lads !!

thats a bit of a pointless comment mentioning about a 50/50 with lovell and phillips, althoigh they are very good players i fail to see how this makes a difference in terms of people not wanting 50/50 with them. Im sure park has come across some big challenges like we all have, i agree though that phillips and lovell are a bit of a handful but not really a valid point trying to scar people in thinking thats all what the wessex league is about !!!!

good competition between ryan park and nick. u lot dont have a clue, nick is the best keeper in the league now that jason has left, and dont forget there is shaggy aswell, who isnt bad. ryan wont even get a look in.

Nick Hutchings best keeper in the league ? Your having a laugh !! The only thing you got right is that jason harvell was the best keeper in the league but even in his absence hutch aint the best. Alan walker-harris has got to be up there along side brunchy at totton and the boy o'rouke at vt.

Staurt Kearns has been the best keeper in the Wessex League for the last few years by far. He is not just a great keeper but keeps teams together with his attitude towards games and training etc
