I heard a rumour from someone who claims to be in the know ( probably tellig porkies ) that Lymington & New Milton are going to drop back down to the wessex league. Does any one know if there is any truth in this ? I know they let a lot of players go last year to cut the wage bill.

Nope - 07-08 constitution released on Friday, Wessex Prem will have 22 clubs and Comb 1, 18 - no linnets I'm afraid.

22 was on friday, but i had good info today they have dropped down so the league is 23 teams this season

Dont suppose you know the 23 who will make up the premier and 18 teams that will contest the combi next year are do you ?

Wessex Prem will be same as last season with the addition of Romsey, Hayling, Arlesford from Weesex 1 and New Milton Town dropping down from Southern.
