just spoken to someone at pompey and this is not one of our first team games. as a pompey fan living in poole would love to come down but not just to pay 5 quid to watch our youth team which is what happened last year against poole town. shame harry as a local resident wouldnt agree to bring first team !! sorry to say this but hope your player is not hoping to retire on gate proceeds particularly as i understand your average home gate to be about 70.anyway hope im wrong and you have a good night,

Nobody in their right mind would expect the whole Pompey first team to play at Hamworthy ! It will be a young side with a sprinkling of experienced squad players that i understand will be brought by Paul Groves. It is a great honour for Brett and indeed for the club that Pompey have agreed to come at all in the present climate !It is not about the player 'retiring' on the proceeds,it is about him having a night to remember !Thankyou so much for your 'support' !

Did any1 else see the stamp made by hamworthys number 17 i think it could be (darren Orchard), i personally find this discraceful behaviour as this was in a pre season testimonial game. he blatenly stamped on pompies number 20 whilst he was led on the floor. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!! i would like acyion to be taken against this player.

well Done brettski really enjoyed the game topped off with your pen. congrats on your testomonial. how good a player was that guy for pompey who started the game in the center mid dark longish hair, wont be long before he will be first team.

felt sorry for brett last night it all seemed a bit of a let down both in terms crowd size and fact pompey didnt see fit to send one single player anyone had heard of. if wasnt for fact the takings were going to brett would have asked for my money back
