what a shame for poole town few weeks back it looked like they were going to have a good season. losing to portland in senior cup this week, as mr killock would put it, finshed off their season. love it . not long ago they were writing letters to the local council and mp's about them getting a stadium and bigger facilities come on hello! , poole town can now come back to reality and realize what league their in and how good they are. love it

Thanks from all here at Poole Town for your ongoing interest in our club. It's nice to know that you care so much more about our defeats than your own team's victories!
Enjoy your football this weekend.
PS Congratulations to Portland - completely outplayed us and well deserved DSC finalists. Good luck.

well if portland totally out played you lot why does killick say that was the worst result ever?what just because they are from a lower league.cant he just admit for once that perhaps ptfc played like the DOG AND DUCK pub team as mr killick likes to say from the sidlines when playing a lower opposition team and just admit that he got beat fair and squarewhat a idiot

hamworthy supporter perhaps? no actually that cant be right because you haven't got any!! must be a hamworthy player then ! perhaps you should concentrate on trying to improve your own dire league position rather than wasting your time on here.

Some extracts from the Echo's match report:
Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division title candidates Poole were outplayed by the Dorset Premier League outfit and deserved to lose against the pre-match underdogs, according to Killick.
...
"It's not losing, it's the fact they were so much better on the night. It was disastrous."
Killick admitted the defeat did not come as a surprise to him after his team were second best to their lower league opponents in the match played at Dorchester Town.
"They looked like they wanted to win the game more and, when it came to quality, they had as much, if not more than us," he said.
"We had a bit of pressure and a couple of opportunities but it wasn't one of those games where we dominated and they snatched it.
"They were better and deserved it."
...
Dolphins captain Ian Richardson and Kevin Gill earned the praise of Killick, but the Tatnam chief admitted: "All the good performances were on Portland's team."
Seems to me Tom Killick did admit his team were beaten fair and square and that "Love It" / "Really" is grinding a rather old axe. I'm not sure he's a player or supporter, but I think the Hamworthy United bit is right".
Anyway, that's my last post on this thread - as George Bernard Shaw put it
"I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it."

After reading PTFC fans and T Killicks comments about his team, is Poole Town re-appraising if they should go up from the Wessex League after losing to a Dorset Premier League Team!!??
I think it's strong to say Tommy's a idiot, but he does have arrogance in abundance though!! and no I am not Hamworthy player either!!

Arrogance seemed to be a word often used to describe a former manager of a certain London club and he didnt do too badly.

Oh well, another game, another defeat for wimborne at the hands of Poole, they tried to get physical, but it was thuggery which led to Roast's sending off after 10 mins & for Poole sub Pete Smith being carried off 5 mins after he came on ! Our season has tailed off lately ,but that was oh so sweet.
