When Ham Rec finally go up this year. The league will become a lot closer at the top next season (especially with a declining Cobham).
Any early predictions who will take the crown next season?

IF Ham Rec finish in the right spot and go up it is gonna be close and too tight to call. Cobham manager stepping down. Players retiring /leaving. Rebuild job on the cards Stur Newton are CLUB with momentum and if they improve again as they did will be tough seeing anyone ahead of them. Westlands ageing side but always solid and stick together. Few fresh faces could take them to the title. Dorch Sports spending big and pushing fornl promotion is hard to rule out. Their form at the moment could they Pip Rec this season? Bournemouth Sports have improved this year and if they scoop up players from the Cobham and Rec area then they could be a force. If I was to gamble. I would say Stur Newton. Just for the fact they have a very good manager with good contacts. They are well set up off the pitch. They like Dorch Sports are an attractive place to go as a player. Stur is in a good location to pull better players from local sides. With Brad Hansford marshalling then it's a no brainer

A decent manager doesn’t make a title winning side, especially when most the current squad are thugs and poor players. If they were up there challenging this season then maybe they’d push on in the next couple of seasons and be genuine contenders

Then every manager after has failed. In uncle Jay Jay we trust. Saying that we have this outside Walshy coming in to try and climb himself up the ladder after a failed Shaftesbury reserve tenure. Uncle Jay is the one we want

Merley got away with facing a tough Holt last weekend. Not sure the old boys could manage Holt, Stur Newton, Dorchester Sports then an in form Sherborne Reserves back to back. That is a tough set of fixtures, would be some tired legs and minds. Hearing rumours that they are raising the bottom clubs to bolster their squads. Watch out Wareham you are next.

There were rumours he had agreed personal terms (bag of quavers, £10 a game and a hair transplant) with Stur a few months back...........could this no.10 be the key to Stur Newton DPL success?

Why is it when Cobham win there all over social media like a rash, when they get a bad result you hear nothing. Definately the nmost hated club in the DPL at present.

Big game this coming weekend, got a feeling that we will edge it over the bigheads from Cobham. 2-0 win for MCS, Dorch Sports crack under the pressure and Cobham have the experience to hold strong. 2 horse title race after this weekend.

I hear bradley pike is playing again, so they are bound to win See the blandford revolution lasted all but 3 days I dont think the manager was ever the problem they simply are not good enough to compete in this league anymore, a serious undertkaing of players is needed this summer, with the current squad needing a serious diet having seen the photos of this weeks game - tubby fc.
