***Kingston Lacy FC are looking for new players for the 2007/08 season***
Kingston Lacy, treble winners last season, are looking for decent quality young players to fit into their unbeaten team of last season. Any positions are available, and we are ideally looking for players who are versatile and can play in many positions.
If you are looking to join a successful club who only conceded 4 goals last season and won Dorset Division 4, Dorset Minor Cup and Dorset Bankes Charity Cup, as well as being runners up in the Lee Simmonds (all of which in their first season together) then please feel free to come along to preseason training.
We are a welcoming bunch of lads with an average age of 22-23 and our team moral is a one-off.
If you are interested in joining one of the most successful teams in the Dorset leagues and have ambitions to play in higher standards in the next few years to come then please contact us through the details below.

Not looking for a team, just to wish you luck.
Cranborne are a DPL side, but we started in divvy 4 and got promoted every season, so we know it's possible. Shouldn't worry about the league shake up, happened to us when the Dorset combination split into 2 leagues and we effectively stayed in the same division (Senior League) even though we won it!!!
You could do with sorting out the argument about the pitch with the cricket club though.
Not putting you down because I know some of your players, but it does get A LOT tougher. Perhaps we'll see you in a couple of years.
Nice website, though almost went blind with the yellow!

Thanks for the message Cranborne. Yes, we are aware that it will get harder over the next few years, but we have time on our side as our oldest player is Tom Garner who is only 25. The rest of the squad is around 22, so hopefuly with a bit of luck we will only become better and more experienced. The situation with the cricket club has been spoken about over the last season and we are pleased to announce that both organisations have come to an agreement over the pitch, which will now see us playing at Pamphill Green for hopefuly many years to come. May see you in a few years Cranborne, I look forward to the challenge.

So you'll have semi-permanent surrounds when the need arises like us then?
All the best...

If anyone is still interested in coming along to training please get in contact with either of the numbers above. A few of us players have suffered injuries, plus work commitments, etc have left our solid squad just a tad depleted at the moment. We would love to have some quality players to add to our already good squad.

Wow! Joker, you must be a bloody genius... I mean, to work out that as you go up through the leagues the games get HARDER... sheer brilliance. Noone at our club has said that it will be as easy as last year, in fact we are sure that this season will be somewhat harder, but as most of the teams are similar to the lot we had last year, then hopefully with a bit of luck we should be near the top of the table again this time around.
