Here we go again, blanny giving it Billy big bollox because they beat a junk team. Never learn will they? Won't be chirping when the bulls tear them a new one on Saturday!! I'm sure the thugs of blandford can take on a load of 18 year olds!

The blandford title charge has begun, all aboard choo choo. Next stop dpl champions it is no coincidence that tom oliver was back in the starting 11 last night for blandford and pulled away with 3 points, shown a real performance to show management he has to start every game best defender in the league end of story, oliver is a veteran at this level and it would be foolish to leave him out, he is MR BLANDFORD

Rob andre is the right man for the job best thing ever to happen that man leaving our club. Couldn’t tie his shoe laces without help. Really am worried for the future of shaftsbury reserves, can’t see them making the half way stage of the league before folding.

Goodnight!” No need to get so personal over a volunteer pub league football. Especially as the first team are in turmoil. At this rate the first team will be pulled and they will fulfill the season in DPL. 1/3 of the league is now reserve teams. Shambles.

I've been notified by a few friends of some of the comments that have been made on here regarding myself as manager of Shaftesbury and the players performances in our first two games. For those of you that haven't been there to watch and have instead jumped to conclusions after seeing the scorelines, the games were a lot closer than the scores depict and both games could have went either way. Both scorelines, in my opinion, flatter Holt and Stur who are very much beatable. On another day, we take the chances we created and get something from the game.
I will continue putting in the work to turn our results around but can assure anyone who cares about the club that we are moving in the RIGHT direction. I'm not a newcomer to management and without blowing my own trumpet, am probably the most qualified coach in the league. The team has only been playing together for a couple of months and the difference I have seen since I have took over the reigns at the club has been fantastic. It's a three year plan for myself and as long as the club wants me, I will achieve at Shaftesbury what I am certain we can achieve.
I will look to bolster the squad over the coming weeks with high-quality players such as Ryan Smith who is looking for first team DPL football. I look forward to the upcoming games, if anyone has any questions or queries regarding my plans please do not hesitate to contact me.

Tbh with you Rob, from what I’ve heard against stur you had one opportunity at an open goal and your crackhead shite striker josh maskell fluffed it. Ryan Mitch is the only player in that side to play that standard… Good luck improving that team with some of the atrocious players in there. And for that keeper, wow oh wow, get him in Mumbai bay with those popadom hands. And for Bradley Wright off wrightson. Get him a place in some 3rd team across the county, the lad is the worst thing since a knuckle sandwich especially saying he could walk into stirs first team. Good luck Rob

Anyone want to hazard a guess at this weekends DPL scores?
Another shoeing for Shaftesbury I expect and their manager will still have that pathetic beaming grin on his mug and that god awful trim

I’ve been reading recently that Holt were the team to beat this season and ones to watch. Been out today to watch a battle against Blandford and I must say I’ve seen nothing but a disorganised bunch of thugs with no footballing ability, well done to Blandford you’ve gone to their turf and played them off the pitch with total ease. Really are going to be strong contenders for silverware this season I’m sure of it.

So for the 3rd time in as many games me and my pup hansford take the spoils in the JJM memorial derby. They’ve never been the same since they shipped me out. That’s why you don’t replace the mead dog! Hamstring popped but you can’t stop a tactical genius.
