hi rockmcjock, i have had the pleasure of watching electric a number of times this season and as there does not appear to have anyone on here that has acknowledged their great achivement this season, I thought I should. I am a regular watcher of both the premier and first division fixtures although I have not had the opportunity of watching Ham RBL as your home ground is quite a way from where I live and I do not drive.
Maybe if you can let me know next season when you are playing electric reserves I can see what you often rave on about.
Anyway, on another note, Crown play electric tonight at hurn bridge in the senior cup final and I am sure it will be a great advert for local footy. My prediction is 2-1 to crown after extra tiem - always fancy an upset come final night!

Just thought I'd let you know that after a great game from the crown last night and by beating the railway 3-2, electric are once again sunday premier league champions.
I'd like to say well done to all the players and management for making neutral spectator's (such as myself) sunday mornings interesting. Well done lads

I'd like to second both sentiments in the above post.
I have seen both sides play this year and both are very good footblling sides. I have heard from a friend that the goals came from Dan Bagerly 3 and Tom Geoff 2 for electric on sundy.
where is wallisdowns final being played?

In response to my own post and after watching an exciting Semi Final match on sunday, Electric are now in both the Sunday Senior and Robbins cup final. The also have another cup semi on sunday I think in the Hants cup? Is this true? Who are they're opponents in the two respective finals? I am off to watch the in form new star this week as they seem to be scoring lots of goals.

I went to watch Bournemouth Electric v Crown on Sunday morning and must say that it was a very good game to watch. Electric eventually winning 2-0.
Anyway, whilst I was there I was chatting to one of the electric spectators who informed me that they are on course fror 4 trophies this season although he couldn't tell me which ones. Can anyone answer this for me? I imagine that one of them is the league as according to the paper today they are now top of the premier division.
Also, how are any of the other teams doing this season and is there any mouth watering ties for me to go and watch this sunday morning?

I can answer some of those bits but not all I'm afraid. I know the managers name is Russell and I'm not sure who he managers on a saturday. the top goalscorers at present are daniel baguerly, dan pidgely and scott sanderson. Although in the last couple of games, the goals have been coming from Tom Jeffs who i believe is a new signing and joey kittle who has been promoted from the reserves.
The squad they seem to have is massive as the last few times I've seen them play they have drafted in different players like Mark Dancer, Leigh Phillips and Tom Stone to play around the usual bunch. Hope that helps.

I think your right there. since the new star gam, I'm told that Electric have put 5 past Berrans Park, 8 past roko and 9 past forresters. Think they only need to win tuesday against Haven and beat Railway at Branksome on sunday and they have won the league - don't quote me on that though as thats how I've worked it out from the last published table but haven't seen the updated one yet.

I wasn't at the game between electric and new star last week but from the people I have spoken too, New Star were only missing Alan Scott from the side that started against Electric earlier in the season alrthough they did have the services of Mr Rigler upfront to make up for it. I was also told that the sending off was very harsh but Mr moores has been on the ref's bac before the incident so it might have added to the decision. Should be a good final all the same and i can't see it being quite so one sided as cup finalsdon't often pan out like that.

The game is at Broadway lane and I expect it will be a 6.15pm kick off. Should be a great game and warm up for the final at the end of the month.
Did i hear right that electric dropped points against Hordle on Sunday?

I was at the very well contested game between New Star and Electric yesterday which saw electric take 3 points with a 4-1 win. Can I ask someone associated with the new star team to let us know the developments on their player who was taken to hospital yesterday please. It is always a shame to see players leaving the field of play with injury but this was much worse and I would like to wish the player in question a speedy recovery.

I'm afraid you will have to continue to wait for Electric's full first team to play Ham Car Centre as the side for tonight's fixture will be made up of sunday reserves and Saturday first team players and this was confirmed to me by one of the spectators at electric's final on Tuesday.
I was also told that the side is run by their reserves manager who I believe is not keen on playing many of the first team players as they are tired from the fixture back log and his side are fit and able having not had a game for two weeks. I am also told that he will not be taking this fixture lightly as he wants to end his first year in charge with a trophy so I can assure you he does not think it is a mickey mouse cup.
Also, I think the same blend of players actually won this cup 2 seasons ago so it should be a decent game tonight.
I have watched Electric on a number of occassions this season and must admit that they are a young and honest side who play great football. I have been told that they beat HCC 4-0 in pre-season without a full side and have not played sandford in a couple of years. Although the last two games they have beaten them.
