Your spot on guest, who does he think he is!! Sven!!! hes come from the senior league and failed at that, thats why he walked away, cant handle pressure. Cant see Cobham taking him on next year. So where you going to go next year G. Perhaps your standard is Dorset div 3

Hes ruffled a few feathers at Cobham came in the big i am. First game bad result, upset a few players. With any luck the new manager next season will be of DPL calibre.

Dave and DPL Guest, you really haven't got a clue.
There are players at Cobham that aren't good enough, why do you think they were 3rd from bottom when he took over.
You can't judge a new manager after 2 or 3 games.
The team have had a lift with the introduction of a new manager they have to play well for week in week out and not when they feel like it. Competition is healthy.
How you can say he failed in the DSL when Corfe won their first 6 league games and knocked out Dorch United in the cup. Admittedly we stuttered a bit when injuries and suspensions came about but name me a team that doesn't.
You judge a manager after more than 6 months in charge.

Dave,
I am helping manage Corfe's first team until the end of the season.
And used to play for Cobham at Under 18's although that was a few years ago now..

Just to confirm that G will be the manager of Cobham next season.
As Ben says I suggest you give him some time to bed down and I think you will see a turn around at the club. He is already introducing some quality players and know he already has some great acquisitions for next season.
Matty and G created a great team spirit at Corfe and I am sure they will do the same at Cobham and if a team is 3rd from bottom then maybe they need some feathers ruffling and anyone who knows G certainly will know he is anything but the 'the big I am' !!!!.
I can see Cobham being a top 6 side next season in the DPL and can still pick up quite a few points up to the end of this season.

Matter of fact unless you are on the cobham commitee that is a comment i think you are not qualified to make. Also with Gs attitude at the moment ' the big i am', which a few of us have witnessed at first hand. Is something you cannot comment on, unless you are there as i am week in week out.

Didnt want to watch them lose again. When edmonds was in goal they won each game. Higgy theyve lost both. When edmonds was in goal for Ham reserves they won against Boro 4-0 with some amazing saves.I dont think g has made some great changes to the team usually a !st team place is earnt by going into the reserves and proving yourself.Which higgy hasnt.

so he's played higgy for 2 games and payner for one against two tough teams.
Bob, you're a pr*ck.
Higgy is an excellent goal keeper and could play at a much higher standard than DPL if he wanted to.
U haven't got a fkin clue

i agree, bob you cant blame higgy for 2 defeats, hes played very well in those 2 games and has been a very confident influence on the side, and payner played well yesterday although isnt fit enough yet to play a full match like he did yesterday which is a shock that he did, but that will come. i am still very unconvinced with some of the decisions G makes, but it has only been 3 games, you cant judge anyone that quickly. If anyone has watched those 3 games you will notice however, performances have been alot better.

right ive tried my best to bite my fingers and stay out of this one but here i go....firstly is there any manager who had run a team at premier standard before ACTUALLY MANAGING THAT STANDARD.....OF COURSE NOT....so every team who has come up from the old divvy one to combi chances are it was a first for that teams boss...so whats the difference when it comes to G and matty williams...at least they have the bottle to give it a go...im pretty sure that none of them are sat right now saying "right how can i get beaten this week and make myself look stupid"...chances are that YES G and matty HAVE peed some people off at cobham but thats where they will either be succesfull with their decisions or fall flat on their face...so why dont you just let them do one or the other!!!!!!!

Youve got to feel sorry for corfe in all of this. They are chasing for promotion there manager leaves takes the goalie and other players. Why couldnt he stay and get promotion and join the DPL with glory. Rather than leave corfe in the lurch. I can understand unrest at cobham they had won two games and had moved up to fourth from bottom, then g came made changes and now ttey are back to third from bottom. They might of been tough teams but no harder than bournemouth Sports.
