Just been to watch Ham Rec v Gosport tonight, very entertaining game with Ham Rec shading it 4 3,and before you ask Gosport sent down a very strong side,3 first team regulars missing from what Mr Pike said,Rec had a few new players i who i didnt recognise, anyone shed any light on these new signings?

Obviously gosport were a stronger team but rec worked their socks off and tried to play football and when breaking at gosport caused them problems and scored some deserved goals. Sets a great marker for the season which is just round the corner

Watched Ham Rec beat Gosport 4 -3 last night, , on this evidence they will be the ones to watch in the DPL again this year.

These are all friendly matches that dont men anything. Its all about getting players fit and trying new players aswell as playing new formations and players in different positions. Losing to Poole 8-1, then losing to Verwood and then beating a strong Borough teams just shows its pre season and you canj jugde teams win or lose.
Its all about preperation for the start of the season that counts. If Poole beat us 8-1 during the season then you can come on here slagging Rec off and if Rec beat Gosport in a proper match then you can big them up.
Freindly results mean f*ck All!
