I think a few of last season's Chickerell side and some of the Portland lads have gone to Weymouth. Like you say, it's a big step but good luck to them.

Shaun is a very good player but in reality not better than Toms current crop. Xchurch or any other local wessex side are no better than Ham Rec anyway so a strange move. I did see the Rec V AFCB game as I did Poole AFCB and the new Rec centre back looks a very accomplished replacement. Well done to Ham Rec in that match. 1 all for 72 mins then as you would expect fitness and changes took there toll. AFCB put a weakened side out at Tatnam or Poole would have been beaten by a similar score I imagine. Good luck to all for the new season and looking forward to Recs visit in 2 weeks time.

Tatnam - 1) Ham Rec would definitely not finish in the top 10 of the Wessex league. 2) The Standard of opponents at the lower end of the DPL is a joke they should all be playing in Sunday Division 4, so I think any move from the DPL to a top 10 side in the Wessex is worth it.

I agree with 'Bournemouth league watcher' Alex Grimason is not a good player and definitely not a good signing.

alex grimmo has nothing to prove to anyone,he is a great lad on and off the field and just wants to play without all the politics that comes with dpl football, easy for people to slate others on here but i know he will perform week in week out and deliver a standard many others wish they could achieve..........

Has Henshall left or is Grimason playing for Holt reserves? Holt play with Brown sweeping so no place for Grimason in the side. Average journeyman player in my opinion. Why leave a top 8 club for another top 8 side that realistically won't challenge for title. Only reason he has left is because he can not command a regular place in PB side. Ideas above his station about Poole Town and Wim so Holt are welcome to him

boss hogWASH !Before you go slagging people off in the future get your facts right! Look on the pb website and you will see alex in the two seasons he was with us ,played more games than everybody except one player Ross Mills . So how is that not commanding a regular place? I also think you will find paul harding recommended him to wimborne! Perhaps he left pb for a new challenge. good luck to him . If the truth be told people like you are not welcome on this forum .

PB supporter. Grimason is a utility player hence the high appearances. He can not hold down a long term position of which his only real position is centre back as not good enough in midfield. Wimborne town, get serious. Grimason is not good enough to get into a top DPL side of which Holt are not. Not being nasty but factually correct. Don't come on here if you can't take criticism Mr Grimason!!

First of all thought this was a thread on transfers obviously not. This forum is for people with no bottle to put their own name cos they'll get laughed at. You can see why the Boro forum died when u had to sign in. Grimmo won't give a monkeys about any of this, even I wouldn't know his best position, he's quality in various positions.
