Everybody is fully supporting the rep side and wish you all the best. That said the earlier post is correct in the fact the strongest players are not all in squad. Credit to Norman he is using those who have been loyal in the past. Not a bad side but could be far better. All the best anyway.

a little bitter and twisted my friend not quite up to the grade is this why your knocking the players and there manager..although im not a great fan of Steve Norman give the man and his team some credit here a semi-final in the national systems cup a huge achievement i think, you keep turning up on a Saturday and give it your best and one day someone might spot you and who knows you might be picked (love me or hate me).

I think you will find that no chickerell player is in the rep team now for whatever reason you deluded fool even though we have some very good players. Do you see us moaning on here your obviously bitter about it. All the best to the rep team in this semi final. We are glad to be playing on that day as we need to catch up games.

I agree with previous statement, the Rep side could be stronger but anyone who has ever run a rep side would know 1/2 the players aren't interested, so you pick the best players who are and you show a bit of loyalty. Lets hope they get through on Saturday.

to the dpl player who started this thread , i absoloutely agree with your comments apart from the phil brown issue ? i do not know this player personally, but in this day and age, a broken leg is not a career finisher , albeit amatuer level ! so thats unfair ! also reading down to andy knights post , everybody is there on merit actually means, we are unbeaten , so leave it at that ! andy , you are a good keeper , but just because a person has an opinion does not mean they are jealous ! indeed on merit , on current form , you should not be on the plane !do you think you are the best keeper in this league ? honestly? be greatful for the opportunity you have, do not get above your station and put down another dpl player .

Totally agree with the last post. Lets not knock anyone in the squad whether we think they should be there or not. Another post touched on loyalty etc and it is fact that some of the leagues best players chose not to play for the rep side so fair play to Steve Norman for remaining loyal to those who have got the side this far. Good luck lads

shut up football lover you said you agree with the 1st post? then you say to andy k dont put another dpl player down but what has the first post done???? put down 3 players actually. contradict yourself a bit more if you want. you obviously dont play the game so dont say to people or hint that they arent the best keeper in the league etc etc and they should be greatful. why arent you the manager. i agree with everyones comments except the plum with the first post and yours. idiot

Surely looking at the stats, Mark Ford from Blandford Should get a chance? 21 goals in 23 league games from a side who are mid table? Or is that the reason why he doesnt get a chance, as he is from a mid table side?

Statistics can mean whatever you want them too but his goalscoring is not to be sniffed at. Having played Blandford I can say he has something about him, very lively but not quite the same front man as Whyton or Moores who have more to offer in the bigger picture. No doubt if Ford continues to improve his time will come.

Good luck to the rep team in the semis, it will be great for the look of the whole DPL if you get to the final. It must be a good side to get this far, but I do agree with some of the comments about there being better players being overlooked such as Mike White at Swanage, Ashley boyt at Ham Rec, Paul Mitchel at Parley and some of the Chick players. Maybe these players can't be bothered with the rep team but I wonder if they have been asked. Maybe it's easier to use half of the Holt team that you know than go out scouting new players.

mike was asked to play but he cant cos hes been on a contract when he played for dorch, players cant play if theyve been contracted b4, paul mitchell is not good enough

whilst i believe there is real quality in the rep team and the results speak for the themselves, i watch paul mitchell week in week out and i can assure you he is good enough, in a first season in which we are learning and improving all the time, mitch is invaluble to have as our club captain. all the best to all the lads in the rep team!!
