Have heard the Rec boss has been approached and asked to take over and raise the Cobhams position and profile. After all the club set ups are not too different so why should the clubs be at opposite ends of the scale. Long shot of getting him though I think

Garthy would not leave Rec and has some good signings coming in to bolster the clubs title defence

Would be startled if that was the case. Holt who beat Rec and fair play for that were 19 pts behind Rec and the only player who would come close to the current crop got bombed out by the Rec boss for dis loyalty. No offence to any Holt lads but would be shocked if your phones rang with the Rec boss on the blower. Weymouth, Westlands and Rec to battle for top spot next season.

On behalf of Merley Cobham Sports FC we are pleased to have Mike Buxton and his management team on board and will provide Mike and his team with all the necessary required support now and in the future. We would like to of course thank Tim Balch for all his hard work and committment whilst in position as Cobham manager previously. With the merger of the youth and senior sides now in place, which has been exremely hard work and time consuming for myself and my colleagues on the youth committee, i believe we can now work together and bring the club from strenth to strength.
