nobham fan fooks got booked after your number 9 smashed him into the wall head first did you not see that and he was also told by the ref he would get sent off for one more offense the old Gary would have got sent off full marks to Gary there is a big room for improvement still to come from Gary i think he needs to say and do the positive things also Mr nobham fan how many bookings did your team pick up on Saturday i know Jamie Holland was also booked so swanage had two booking and cobham had at least four i can remember so you should get your own house in order before you slag any one off

Sounds like the officials didn't do their job then, didn't they spot the hammer? ;D ;D Hey Mr Cobham Fan - I like your punctuation, or should that be "I like your, punctuation." !!! I wonder whether you will still find his behavior amusing when it really kicks off.

well i was there and fooks did dish out a bit of stick and our number 9 who is an under 18 gave it back so i say fair play to him also why were the swanage supporters asking the under 18 player to wind him up more so he would get sent off???THAT WAS SWANAGE FANS!!!!Also when in the first half our number 9 went in 2 footed the same as the swanage lad except a bit higher was HE then 2 footed in the midriff by a swanage player AFTER the ref had blown for a free kick and was looking up the pitch??Can anyone remember that??I know a few swanage lads including jase and if they manage to NOT get a player sent off in the first 5 games ill eat my dog!!! ;D

Haha - that was the work of an ex-manager, but it was said totally in jest and part of some very good banter being had with the Cobham bench. We were all smiling, getting along, having a laugh and generally enjoying being there, shame it was rougher out on the field of play. The comments to the number 9 weren't meant to be taken literally, but there you go... that's the beauty and unpredictability of footy... 2 games gone - no sending's off Will it be roast dog or is the mutt to be eaten raw?

Gary ' Inspirational' Fooks, three words youll never see often. Any one who has watched him at all would not describe him like that. Jason you say hes only just learning to bite his lip, bit late at his age I think. As for coaching I havent seen that from first hand perhaps hes different than playing, but as a coach firstly you should be setting a good example especially with young lads new to the game. I do hope it works out at Swanage thats why im not s lagging anyone just an observation. Good luck with the season

Hey da do Ron Ronny! ;D "Any one who has watched him at all would not describe him like that." Can't say that now mate as he was an 'inspiration' against Cranborne. Completely led by example, and despite what you say - I would say it is NEVER too late to LEARN. Long may it continue Thanks for your good wishes, and like you - I do hope it works out at Swanage, it's about time the club started to compete again at the top of the DPL.

Thats a great achievement for your 'inspirational' midfielder, I saw how 'inspirational' he was against ham utd, stamping on people, late tackles, swearing at the ref if your happy about that sort of attitude then all the best for the season. I prefer to watch people being ' Inspirational ' with the ball or encouraging their team mates.
Good banter though, good luck, Swanage is a cracking club hope they have a good season

I prefer to watch people being ' Inspirational ' with the ball or encouraging their team mates. Thanks for the best wishes Ronny - glad you enjoy the banter, that's what makes watching footy at this level worth it. With reference to your comments, and the one quoted above, I also saw the Hamworthy game and would contend that Swanage's Mr Fooks was inspirational with the ball and also encouraged his team an awful lo in that game... As to the late tackles, yes there were possibly a couple but nothing bad, and certainly not as bad as the Hamworthy number 2... yes there was swearing (some people just can't help it!) and yes, he probably swore at the ref. I am not condoning that, but I would point out that I would have thought that all 22 players on the park that day also committed this crime! As for stamping on anyone, didn't see anything like that so can't comment. Has that dog been devoured yet? ;D

Sorry swanage fan watched you play at Holt today and even the most loyal fan can't stick up for Fooksy kicking one of his own players. The lad looks like one of your best players and he brought himself off straight away. That is disgraceful especially as you were well in that game you played well, with the young lad on the pitch things might of ended different.
Sorry to say I told you so

Spot on Ronny good game end to end stuff Fooksy was a disgrace ran up behind his own player and kicked him and it was only Holland who was a better player for Swanage I think if he was on to the end Swanage could have got a draw. I dont blame him for going off Fooksy is a nutcase. And the manager should kick him out. But i think they are all friends together.

Fair comments lads, have to agree, absolute nightmare today. Really bad finish to an excellent game. I think you will find that Gary has stepped down from playing after today. But I stick to what I've said on here up to now (see above) and up to today Gary has done well, but it look as if his record will read 6 appearances and no bookings!!!
Both defences today were absolutely shocking, it could have been so many more. I think Swanage gifted Holt 5 of their 6 goals, although your second was superb.
You are also spot on with your comments about Richie Sands, he was our best player apart from Jamie Holland today. Always gives 110% and grabs his fair share of goals.
Best of luck for the rest of the season anyway...

i really do hope this isnt as bad as it sounds!!!garys a mate and ive been winding the swanage crew up about getting a red card in the first 5 games...swanage crew being jamie, jase and gary...if it is then i am sorry to hear it cos gary is actually a good lad i think his reputation proceeds him and thats why everyone becomes judge jury and executioner before actually knowing him anyway it looks like ill still be keeping my dog in a protection programme...next time i see you down the club gary beers are on me!!
