I think this is a great chance for the young lads in the dsl to have a game against some of the more experienced players in the dpl.
have you spoken to the FA about organising this?
Could be a good way of letting the dpl managers look at the talent in the dsl too.

that is such a good idea, kj, you would be the obvious manager, but would you just pick the best youngsters? if so who would you pick, would you be biased and only pick you youngsters at poole or would you pick others? ?

i would listen to the managers and ask them to nominate there best youngsters or players, couple of trg sessions then pick on ability.......but this must be a good way to start the Dorset FA'S season.
NEED MORE SUPPORT........SPONSOR ETC....GREAT START TO THE SEASON. IM SURE MANY WILL SUPPORT THIS EVENT.....KJ

why will it never happen, our countys top 2 leagues playing in front of a crowd of 200 plus, dont tell me people would not support this event, at Poole res home games we had between 30 - 50 supporters watching.
Leys make it happen.

kj excellent idea, i would be willing to help off field refreshments etc. If played at turlin moor (only suggestion before some of the divvy ones out there go mad!) will make sure profits from the cafe go to the charity too!

What a typical response from "NEVER" so low wont even put his name! Anyway KJ when it happens let me know through the club website or office number. We at the Borough would only be to happy to help out
Could also get the youth involved make a day of it and raise loads of money

I think that this is a great idea, where ever it will be played but lets n ot forget, there are players playing in the lower leagues of Dorset that could also play in this match, this would be very good experiance for these lads, who says it has to be players from the DSL, there is a whole Dorset County league ya know.
